Looking for a Salesforce developer!

Yep, working at Google is nice… but what the heck is that pink stuff?!

We’re building a special projects team for a Salesforce org on Google’s most exciting and profitable business lines!

Highlights of the position include:

  • A focus on building brand new applications instead of maintaining existing code.
  • Experimenting with the latest industry technologies such as Salesforce1 Lightning and AngularJS.
  • Potential to influence any part of our applications, from front-end design to back-end architecture.
  • Be a part of a small, nimble development team.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Design, build, and test customized software applications built on the Force.com platform.
  • Improve architecture and optimize performance of existing Salesforce orgs.
  • Work closely with management and user experts on building new features and enhancements.

Required skills:

  • Strong understanding Apex and Visualforce.
  • In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and building integrations with Salesforce.
  • Understanding of data structures and modeling.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, JSON, SQL.
  • DEV 501 certification or equivalent experience.

Note that this position will report directly to me!

How many years of experience is required?
At least two years experience coding full-time in Apex!

Will I have to re-locate to Mountain View, CA?
Yes! We are located in Google Headquarters. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any re-location compensation.

Are you able to sponsor/transfer H-1B visas?
Unfortunately not for this position!

Is this a temporary or permanent position?
This is a contract position for six months, with the possibility (but no guarantee) of extension or permanent hire for exceptional candidates!

Anyone who can should really try and take advantage of this. My sister-in-law works for google as well, loves it, and has done very well there.
