Stumbled on another AWESOME Apex blog!

January 16, 2015

For those of you itching for advanced Apex concepts and examples, you must read Andy in the Cloud!

Andy, the author of the blog, is a Salesforce MVP and CTO of FinancialForce – one of the biggest names in the Salesforce industry. A TON of the strongest Salesforce developers I know work there, so it says a lot about his skills that he’s their #1 technical guy! He knows A LOT more than I do!

I’ve been binging on this site all day, and to summarize Andy in the Cloud: it’s a frequently updated site that covers ultra technical concepts and the latest technologies in the Salesforce.com platform,

Fun fact: I first met Andy about a year ago at a Salesforce event and had no idea he had a blog until Google randomly found it for me today. He has no idea I just became his biggest fan.

Some of my favorites posts of his:

  • Calling Flows from Apex triggers
  • Advanced Enterprise Apex design patterns
  • A (free) declarative roll-up summary tool for lookup relationships

Lots more great stuff on his site but you gotta check it out for yourself!

How does Andy find the time to be the CTO of a major company AND run a great blog?!

Added to the More Resources section of this site!
