It’s simply walking down some of the legendary walkways of Google.
Did I ever tell you I was rejected 10 times by Google? I dreamed of working there for so long, working tirelessly just to get to the point where maybe they’d give me an interview. I guess #11 was my lucky number. And good thing I only needed to be accepted once!
I hope you too have the chance to accomplish your dreams. And I hope, even after 10 failures, you still pick yourself back up and go for #11. Persistence is the secret weapon in life.
Next post: Introduction to Visualforce!
That’s inspirational and amazing David.
I had this question in my mind for long and wanted to ask you this.
Did you prepare algorithms for Google Interviews for which they are famous for
And did you learn Algorithms (time and space complexity stuff) during your journey to become a coder.
As I think that it is the most important thing that CS graduates are taught and differentiates them from Non CS background people.
In all my dev interviews (including Google) I’ve never been asked any algorithm questions. I think it’s extremely rare that you do anything of that nature in Apex, so it doesn’t make much sense to interview for.
On the other hand you can expect mini coding challenges that are not Apex specific. Just no heavy algorithm stuff!
Hi,
I missed attentinng that wonderful webinar. So curious to know whent the recording of the webinar will be available or I missed out the link?
