OMG FREE 6 month sub to my videos!

December 6, 2015

Christmas comes early this year!

Shout out to SFDC99 community members Mark A. and wawipack for finding this deal!

Join this complimentary Visual Studio program and get 6 months of PluralSight for free!

Thought it was too good to be true, so I went ahead and joined the program myself. Sure enough I was watching a PluralSight video minutes later, no credit card required!

The only downside? You need a Microsoft Outlook account (also free) to join.
…I’m really starting to appreciate Microsoft a lot more now!

Last day to register is December 31st, so HURRY UP!!

P.S. if you’re like me and you feel like a grinch taking advantage of these type of deals, I’m sure PluralSight would appreciate if you continued your subscription once the free period ends!

Happy learning!
David

Hey David,

This post was back dated of 2015, wanted to know by any chance can I still avail this offer? I have completed my Course #1: Absolute Beginner’s Guide to Coding in Salesforce AND Let me tell you, it was a lot helpful felt so lucky writing my 1st Trigger & Test Class, but when i try watching Course #2: Fundamental Salesforce Coding Techniques its asking me to Annual subscription to $299 and for Monthly subscription, Currency compared with India looks lil expensive for me to afford. :(

Thanks :)

I just used this process and it still worked! I’m excited to jump into some Pluralsight content! It looks like they’ve extended the offer until they hit a certain number of people using the promo.

In case anyone hasn’t yet availed of this offer, it still seems to be active (though the site says it expires on the 31st), I just signed up. Worth a pop

    Hi Ashutosh,
I don’t if you’d figured it out by now, but I had the same issue, I just change the browser (chrome to safari) and it worked.

I didn’t need to enter any codes when signing up! Double check your steps!

Bob, I ran into this too. On second attempt I clicked on ‘Get code’ rather than ‘Take training’ and it is an offer code, not program code.

Hey bro! Do you have any inside info on when Microsoft and SFDC will roll out an IDE for Force.com or any other apps?

Reply
    David Liu
    December 7, 2015 @ 11:54 am

    Yo Jose!

Technically Salesforce has three IDEs for Force.com:
    Developer Console
    Force.com IDE in Eclipse
    Code editor in setup

They’re putting a TON of investment in the Developer Console so you can consider that the official IDE of Salesforce!

Microsoft – I highly doubt they’ll ever have one in the foreseeable future!

    Hope you’ve been well!
    David

Your right bro! MS aint comin close to doing anything near, or even remotely similar, to Salesforce.
Although Visual Studio is pretty tight! All is well this way my friend :)
      Take care buddy!
      God bless ;)

    Oh no Nimesh!!

Try contacting support to see if they can offer you a full or partial refund!

If not, how about an SFDC99 t-shirt shipped directly to you? =)

Hope it’d brighten your holidays a little bit!

    David

Note: I can’t offer this to everyone who has purchased a subscription already… but hopefully if I get revenue on these videos you can be sure there’s going to be A LOT of chances to get SFDC99 t-shirts!
