Hi David,

I’ve just completed your Apex Academy: Absolute Begginer’s Guide to Coding in Salesforce, which I thought was great. I am an experienced Salesforce Admin with no coding experience, so the content and pace was ideal for me. Thank you for allowing free access at the moment.

Apex has been mentioned for a Salesforce integration we are likely to be doing this year. I’ve also noticed that Apex is now mentioned as required / desirable knowledge / skill in some Salesforce Admin job descriptions (not that I am looking to move job).

At the recent London’s Calling Salesforce user event, I asked Martina Curran (Customer Success Team) how to find out more about Apex. She got Peter Chittum (MVP) in on the conversation and he recommended your blog…

So, a good bit of networking (thanks all) and your blog have certainly boosted my knowledge of Apex.

Many thanks, Kate

I have to say thank you David for all that you have done for anyone who has wanted to start writing code and had no clue where to begin. I thought the only way to learn how to code was to go back to school and spend a ton of money on coding classes and a computer science degree (when I already have student loan debt that I don’t need to add too!). I can proudly say that I am a full-time Apex Developer thanks in large part to this site, hard work, and determination. I could have never guessed that 3 years ago I was an office admin hating my job and now I love going to work every single day! Thank you!

Hello David
This is Mirzat. I have been following your blog for almost 5 months now. I was introduced to it by my girlfriend who, by the way, got 3 certifications in a month and encourages/motivates me everyday. I got Admin/Sales Cloud certified in December and I am studying for Developer certification at the moment. All I wanted to say is that you have helped so many people in any way possible to get them where they wanted to go. I believe there are so many people who are not from IT background like me, do not know if this is the right path for them, or unable to find enough knowledge and information to make sure if Salesforce is the right career for them, but because of your selfless heart of sharing your knowledge, active engagement in the community where people needed help, and dedication for making all these blog posts/apex academy/twitter follow ups etc so many of us are benefitting from you and also working hard everyday to make our dreams come true and hoping to be like You. I wanted to share my success story here one day with you and all the salesforce and dream chasers to surprise you, but today and this post of yours seems like a valid reason to leave a comment and give you a heads up. :) Thank you David.

David has done something awesome and incredibly special with SF99! Not only self-taught but sharing his journey and insight with everyone. Great job David, I salute you.

The “Apex Academy” course was the reason I purchased a Pluralsight subscription.

I am privileged to know Salesforce and SalesforceOrg well. They are fantastic Partners of an amazing Not for Profit Futureversity which I support. We are a 10 minute walk from “Salesforce Tower” in London and visit with our young people.

Please checkout http://www.futureversity.org

The Salesforce community and eco system is great for collaborative learning and support.

    Casey your speed is IMPRESSIVE!

Congratulations on post #1, you are guaranteed a shirt!!

The funny part is you even took the time to write an actual comment even though it hurt your chances for post #1, ha ha ha. Amazing!!

I’ll send you an email once the raffle ends!
