Dream big. Get certified. WIN A T-SHIRT!

December 28, 2016

Let’s celebrate the New Year and honor all the big dreamers out there with a free t-shirt contest!

I know many of you are out there thinking up your New Year’s resolutions. And I know many of you need that extra push to go for your dreams. I hope this contest will do that for you!

Two ways to win:

  1. Pass the Platform Developer I Certification!
  2. Get a job as a Salesforce developer!

How to participate:

  1. Write a comment on this post with your goal: Platform Dev I, a developer job, or both!
  2. When you achieve it, send me an email at sfdc99.mailbag@gmail.com with proof!
  3. I will send you a limited edition SFDC99 t-shirt!

Rules:

  • If you’re one of the first 5 people to achieve either goal, YOU WIN!
  • There will be 3 winners for the Platform Dev I cert, and 2 winners for the developer job
  • Honor system: you can’t already have the Platform Dev I cert, DEV501, or a developer job!
  • Contest will continue as long as it takes to get 5 winners! New participants accepted until then!
  • I will update this post whenever there is a winner!

Up to date winner’s list (CONGRATS!!):

  1. Certification (#1 of 3): Rajdeep Singh
  2. Certification (#2 of 3): Krishna Chaitanya
  3. Certification (#3 of 3): Nithesh C. Nekkanti
  4. Developer job (#1 of 2): Shubham Rastogi
  5. Developer job (#2 of 2): James Chen

Godspeed and may the force be with you!

Happy New Year!
David

P.S. already achieved these? Write me your success story, and if it’s posted, I’ll send you a shirt too!

Also in case anyone else is wondering you have to have posted in this post before getting the cert! This is to prevent people with the cert from finding this post after the fact and claiming a shirt!

1. Actually keen to be Salesforce Certified – but studying in order suggested on your site. Dev 201 targeted first, then Platform-I certification.
2. Job search in Salesforce, a crucial part & motive for the certification.
Hence, listing both here – not very keen for any shirt etc. but surely keen to get myself achieve above targets within Jan 2017 (Feb 2017 at max for landing a job in salesforce – for 2017 almost started now)

Wish me good luck & pray for my good 2017 start with success in above goals.
Happy New Year to you as well.
