CRM Science needs Salesforce devs!

February 26, 2017

CRM Science, a group of code nerds who build Salesforce apps, is looking for Salesforce developers!

Why do I recommend CRM Science?
They’re a small group of developers led by Alex Sutherland, a buddy of mine who’s also a Salesforce MVP. I respect the heck out of this guy and I personally would learn a ton if I worked for him! If you’re in the fortunate position to learn from him too, do it!

Lab Coat Position: Developer

CRM Science is looking to grow it’s team of geeks and in particular, looking for new developers to don our Lab Coats. We’re looking for developers that are already familiar with Salesforce coding languages, at least traditional Apex and Visualforce, and are looking to continually grow their Salesforce development skillsets by working with our more senior developers, project leads, and solution architects. Developers work closely with these individuals within various project teams to create, test and deliver portions of the overall project.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using Apex for use in:
    • Visualforce pages and component controllers
    • Triggers
    • Test coverage
  • Proficiency in using Visualforce in pages and components
  • Familiarity and ability to use one of the many IDEs available, excluding the Developer Console
  • Ability to efficiently troubleshoot issues within the Salesforce platform
  • Be adept at comprehending existing code
  • Thorough understanding of Salesforce declarative work including, but not limited to:
    • Schema configuration and formulas
    • Process automation (workflow, Process Builder, etc.)
    • Reports and dashboards
    • Sandbox deployment strategies
  • Great organization and documentation skills
  • At least Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Advanced knowledge of Trigger handler patterns
  • Experience with
    • Webservices/API
    • Source control
    • Lightning
    • Lightning communities
    • Einstein
    • Wave

Good luck and say HI to Alex for me!
David
