P.S. we will meet in person at the next Dreamforce!
Hi David,
I hope you are doing absolutely wonderful. :D
I am writing this to you to express how grateful I am to you. I have been following you since early 2018, that’s when I started my Salesforce journey and my professional career as well.
A bit of background:
I hail from New Delhi, India. I didn’t get any job from my college and was unemployed for the first six months after my graduation.
Then in Jan 2018, I got my first job where I was introduced to Salesforce and soon after I got to know about our Trailblazer Community. And that’s when I got to know about some super awesome folks like you in the community.
Since then it has been quite a journey for me, from starting out as an unemployed graduate (from a non-coding background which is not even remotely related to coding or Salesforce) to now a Salesforce Developer in Berlin in just approximately 1.5 years. I moved to Berlin for my new job as a Salesforce Developer recently.
So I would like to take a moment to thank you for all that you have done for the community and inspire folks like me, so thank you very much.
I wish you very well and also hope to meet you in person someday! :)
Best Regards,
Narender Singh

I know for a fact a degree is not the end all to get a salesforce job I have mad respect for you but don’t tell people it’s like the end all to get a job through salesforce cause it’s not Apple and google took that off there requirements, and most jobs in salesforce don’t require a degree or a lot of them don’t!!!
