6 certs in 4 weeks in India!

July 24, 2020

David’s note: It makes me so happy to see people finding Salesforce success across the world. Even better when it is shared to inspire others! Sachin – great story to remind us that learning is important no matter what stage we are in our careers!

Hey, fellow youths.

I know there are so many stories we can draw inspiration from, there are many examples of success stories that we’ll listen to and are instantly triggered to work harder than hard.

Well mine is very simple.

It’s been a little over 3 years now since I first got introduced to this amazing Salesforce Ohana.

I’m a senior Program Architect with Salesforce. You can read about what this role means in this blog.

Till the pandemic hit us, life was pretty crazy. 50-60 hours work-weeks and travel every week for 5-6 days to my customer locations. Yeah Indian customers can be demanding :)

I’ve been working across various products, but never really had the time to sit down and prep for the certs. And then COVID hit us.

Well I know I shouldn’t be saying it considering the people who got affected, but it did come as a blessing for me with travel restrictions across the board. It also gave me time to focus on my own personal learning & hence the certs.

All I had to do is brush up on what I’ve been learning all this while and yes having hands-on experience does make it a walk in the park.

I would strongly recommend everyone out there who wants to build up on Salesforce skills to start with Trailhead which is a great fun place to learn and PRACTICE hands-on as much as you can.

I’ll be more than happy to assist in your learning which is probably the most important key to advance in your career. Reach out @ my LinkedIn.

I’d like to sign off with a big thank you.

Stay physically distant but socially connected. Please take care & be safe.

Cheers,
Sachin

David, just saw the comments…all i’m gonna do is ignore the ignorant. People will complain, no matter what ..
I understand dumps are out there, but im pretty certain, no one can pass even 1 cert relying on them..thats just not in SF..its there for any product – you can dumps for everything..
In the end what comes in handy is the quality of experience you’ve had & your learning – that’s all that matters.

Editor’s note: these are some of the most toxic comments I have ever seen on articles here but to be honest I think it’s a discussion worth having. Also I have no interest in censoring / removing comments.

I don’t think the comments are specifically for Sachin but instead a general frustration towards a broken certification system in the Salesforce world created by dumps.

Dumps have delegitimized the achievements of honest professionals and it is incredibly frustrating. @Sachin I hope if you’re reading this you understand the frustrations are not towards you. I also have passed many certifications in a short time frame and know it’s possible to do so without cheating.

Anyways, to everyone else, feel free to carry on with the honest conversations. All comments here are anonymous anyways!

How can someone without knowledge get certified ?
That too being a Salesforce employee has its own privilege’s…

Big Companies are going away with Certification and even Google takes guys without degree if they are good at programming… Still we’re struck in an era where Certification count matter…. Stupid Success story … This is rubbish…

Earn some knowledge and share with the world… instead of just Cert counts…

Certifications does not count . Show some knowledge bro. Stop useless publicity.
Write some Salesforce ideas. SF is making money selling $200+ vouchers. It’s a big business. Don’t be in their trap. Spend money for you or ur family. If u have more. .. donate some.
