That’s right folks the Apex Academy is free all weekend starting now!!
Free weekend goes from Friday August 14th to Sunday August 16th, 2020!
If you’ve ever wanted to code or just wanted to try it out to see if it was for you – now’s your chance! This promotion comes around only once or twice a year so take advantage of it!
And if you find that you don’t like coding in Salesforce, well, at least you can put that to rest!
Also in case you’re curious:
P.S. after the free weekend ends, don’t forget I offer a scholarship for people in financial need, the unemployed, and veterans and their family members. Email me with your story for more info!
I took all three Apex Academy courses and you gave some great tips! I had no idea that I could query profile permissions. I was told it wasn’t possible, but that example you gave has helped me and my team tremendously when we test security settings. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
=)
Hey David,
Wanted to get some quick advice for learning Apex: I’m reading on a lot of Reddit posts that it is really important to understand OOP before jumping into Apex, as you’ll understand the what but not the how or the why. What are your thoughts on this? Will I get these OOP concepts in Apex Academy or would you recommend knocking out an OOP Java course first? Thanks for the help!

It will be nice to check out your course online – I had planned on taking via PluralSight already, but looking forward to a preview this weekend!
I shared with my team too, so hopefully get you a few more YouTube subscribers out of it as well!
