I took all three Apex Academy courses and you gave some great tips! I had no idea that I could query profile permissions. I was told it wasn’t possible, but that example you gave has helped me and my team tremendously when we test security settings. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Hey David,

Wanted to get some quick advice for learning Apex: I’m reading on a lot of Reddit posts that it is really important to understand OOP before jumping into Apex, as you’ll understand the what but not the how or the why. What are your thoughts on this? Will I get these OOP concepts in Apex Academy or would you recommend knocking out an OOP Java course first? Thanks for the help!

Thank you David!

It will be nice to check out your course online – I had planned on taking via PluralSight already, but looking forward to a preview this weekend!

I shared with my team too, so hopefully get you a few more YouTube subscribers out of it as well!
