I’m kind of embarrassed to say I’ve had this Definitive Careers Guide in progress for a few years now.
I’ve got this message that I’ve always wanted to share with you on how to build a successful career. Learning to code was a big milestone for me, and getting a job at Google was a big one too.
And when it comes to getting a job at your dream company there’s two parts to the equation: technical and non-technical things. And I really want to share my non-technical strategies.
I’m really just an average guy who stumbled into career success unconventionally. And the more I see people struggling with the “normal” methods the more I want to share lesser known strategies.
But every time I start writing a post on this it just becomes too long winded. I think blogging just isn’t the right medium to tell this story. That, plus COVID restlessness, and my YouTube channel is born.
Anyway, watch the video if you wanna learn more, and, I hope to earn your subscription one day.
David
May you please tell me how to get salesforce experience, I’ll seriously do anything, thank you very much!!!
Bro I know you’ve seen my “how to fake experience” video lol
I asked the community and they said doing a trailhead mentor ship is that good for lack of experience as well???
Yup that’s great too!
Thank you from the bottom of my hear David I seriously mean it, any of the new super badges that you like???
To be honest I’m not that big on superbadge since most employers have no idea what they are!
If I’m applying for a salesforce job wouldn’t they they know, I would imagine, also your saying certifications and mentor ship are the most valuable, also how do I get a mentor ship once I sign up do you know. Thanks again!!!
Most hiring managers prob won’t have any superbadges. Also not too familiar with the mentor program sorry! Will have a future video on mentorship though
That makes sense, but what about super badges if I’m applying to a job at salesforce!!!
Can’t wait for that, also I’m just going to stick with my certifications then good plan???
I have totally hahaa
And why would they not salesforce super badges are just as hard I don’t believe that!!!
Sorry if this sounds repetitive hahaa just trying to gain clarity and understand more, so you can get salesforce experience with the super badges correct or how else do you gain salesforce experience foundation and knowledge, I think your freest thank you from the bottom of my heart again!!!
